▣ House Flowers

We at The Aspen Branch are fortunate to live and work in one of the most stunning places on earth.  Aspen, with its breathtaking views, world-class skiing, and quaint town, attracts individuals with superb taste and vast resources.  We often get to use the stunning homes of these individuals to showcase our work and at times to work with world renowned designers.

For those interested in architecture and design “Timeless Elegance: The Houses of David Easton” was recently published.  The book displays the immense talent of highly acclaimed designer/architect David Easton through photographs of his design masterpieces in Aspen, New York and beyond.  Our very own Beth Gill has worked personally with Mr. Easton and was personally thanked by him in the acknowledgments.

Just as The Aspen Branch team has used floral design to accentuate and compliment some of the most spectacular homes imaginable our arrangements can complete the ambiance and charm of your home as well.

 Dear Aspenites,

February 14th is just around the corner.  It is time to show your loved ones just how much they mean to you.  Warm their hearts with a beautiful floral arrangement from the Aspen Branch.  Choose something traditional such as a dozen red roses.  Choose something sweet by adding kisses to your arrangement.  Choose something wild & exotic.  But, most importantly, make sure to choose something!

                                                                                               Yours truly,

                                                                                               St. Valentine

It was our pleasure to decorate the newly renovated Limelight Lodge for the holiday season.  The design for the mountain lodge was cheery and classic like the Limelight itself.

Although the trimmings are down until next year stop by the Limelight to enjoy their great atmosphere and aprés!

▣ Home for the Holidays

The month of December is a busy time at the Aspen Branch.  The elves are out decorating hotels, businesses and many of Aspen's most exquisite homes.  Our designers decorate trees, create beautiful wreaths & garlands, and design holiday arrangements that fill these residences with the holiday spirit.

A wonderful display of how artificial greenery can accentuate the mantel and look so real.

A classic example of the very chic, very rustic Aspen style.

The Wild West meets St. Nick in this wonderfully playful Christmas tree.

A beautiful & natural new take on the traditional holiday arrangement.

A holiday garland is the perfect way to add holiday cheer throughout the home.

Fresh greenery, pine cones and red roses combine to form the perfect holiday arrangement.

This tree is so lovely it is impossible to tell if it is real or artificial.

The perfect way to welcome your loved ones home for the holidays!

▣ Ringing in the New Year Aspen Branch Style

The Aspen Branch provided the flair for two of the city's most exciting New Year's Eve parties.  Each location was lavishly and stylishly decorated with flowers, furniture, drapery, lights and more.

Il Mulino, located at  the Residences at The Little Nell, kicked off 2011 within a tent decorated with the seasons most popular colors, silver and red.  Arrangements of red roses and white hydrangeas adorned the tables.  Paper lanterns and tiny white lights provided a soft glow to the space.

The second affair, hosted at a private residence, chose the same colors but opted for a more dramatic look.  The Aspen Branch draped the celebration tent in lustrous red cloth.  High top tables provided a place to set your drink while black easy chairs were provided for relaxing before the countdown.  The white bar was illuminated from within and there was no shortage of candles or winter inspired arrangements.  And, because no New Year's party would be complete without them, there were plenty of hats, crowns, confetti and noise makers to go around.

Don't forget that for a special event we can add drapery, comfortable furniture and even an Oxygen bar to make it a little different. Oxygen may seem silly but your guests from lower altitudes will truly appreciate it!

Eye-catching arrangements in the center of the table can focus your guest's attention not only towards the flowers but also towards each other. Centerpieces truly help create ambiance and set the mood of an event. We work with our clients to match their personal styles with the intention of the event to create a feel-good and beautiful setting that makes guests want to stay.

Designing for weddings is one of our favorite things to do. The mountains provide almost all of the decor you need for a beautiful ceremony in Aspen - but adding some gorgeous bouquets never hurts!

The Aspen Meadows Resort & Conference Center opted for something a little different this holiday season.  Our designer replaced the season's traditional colors with wintery blue and silver hues in accordance with the Aspen Institute's color scheme.  Interestingly, the contemporary ornaments were the perfect compliment to the lobby's retro look.

The Little Nell, famous for impeccable service and luxurious comfort, needed holiday decoration to match.  This year the designs were both sophisticated and natural.  Birch wood, greenery and pine cones were paired with silver vessels and ornamentation.  The results were exquisite.

▣ Holiday Wreath Making

We've been busy, busy, busy at the Aspen Branch this year! The snow is falling outside and families from all over the world will soon arrive. And can there be a warm home without a Christmas wreath? Here are just a few examples of the many wreaths we've made this month. We are especially loving the use of vines to give a sense of movement and liveliness to the wreaths.

Bright Christmas stars shine on high

Golden stars in the wintery sky

Christmas candles in windows bright

Send greetings into the night

While in our hearts the Christmas flame

Glows with love none can tame
